E-commerce in Primary Schools

The aim of the paper is to illustrate the role and importance of e-commerce in primary schools, in particular digital literacy, which is one of the key factors in the spread of digitalisation. In order to implement digital transformation in educational organizations, accountants and bookkeepers
had to master four groups of e-skills, such as information
e-skills, communication e-skills, problem-solving e-skills and software e-skills. A survey of 115 accountants and bookkeepers in Slovenian primary schools was conducted to explore their views on ebusiness, green business and digitalisation through the introduction of e-invoicing. We found that accountants and bookkeepers consider the introduction of e-business in primary schools to be a good decision (x̅ = 4.41), that receiving electronic invoices and other electronic documents further contributes to the minimal use of paper and energy for transport, which contributes to green business" (x̅ = 4.30), and that the introduction of e-business in primary schools pursues the objectives and trends of the digitalisation of the country (x̅ = 4.29). There are also no statistically significant differences between accountants of different ages in their assessment of the benefits of e-invoicing and in their definition of green business.
