Vpliv medskupinskih stikov, narodnosti in izobrazbe na socialno distanco na Kosovu

Povzetek

Eden od ključnih izzivov postkonfliktnih družb je zmanjševanje socialne distance med skupnostmi, še posebej tistimi z dolgo zgodovino nasilja. Socialna distanca izraža stopnjo interakcije, razumevanja in zaupnosti med pripadniki različnih etničnih in družbenih skupin. V skladu z opredelitvijo smo v naši študiji preučevali vpliv neposrednega medskupinskega stika, razširjenega medskupinskega stika (tj. védenja, da ima član skupine pozitiven odnos s članom druge skupine) izobrazbe in narodnosti na socialno distanco na Kosovu. Vzorec tvorijo kosovski Albanci (N = 125) in Srbi (N = 103) iz etično mešanih in nemešanih območij na Kosovu. Z uporabo multiple regresijske analize dokažemo, da so neposredni medskupinski stiki, razširjeni medskupinski stiki, narodnost ter izobrazba pomembni prognostiki socialne distance na Kosovu, med izbranimi dejavniki pa je etična pripadnost najpomembnejša. Rezultati pokažejo tudi, da povečana pogostost neposrednih medskupinskih stikov ter razširjenih medskupinskih stikov zmanjšuje socialno distanco. Podobno tudi višja stopnja izobrazbe zmanjšuje socialno distanco, kar velja za kosovske Albance v podskupini vzorca.
