Analiza gospodarske dejavnosti prehrambnega gostinstva v Republiki Sloveniji

Članek obravnava razvoj komercialnega prehrambnega gostinstva v Republiki Sloveniji med leti 1994 in 2015 z namenom prikazati, kako so različni politični in družbeno-ekonomski dejavniki vplivali na razvoj in poslovno uspešnost prehrambnih gostinskih obratov (PGO). Na osnovi analize javno dostopnih finančnih podatkov smo analizirali poslovanje PGO in ga primerjali z uspešnostjo celotne dejavnosti gostinstva. Dobljene rezultate smo smiselno analizirali v povezavi s pomembnejšimi družbeno-političnimi in ekonomskimi spremembami v preteklem obdobju. Rezultati so pokazali slabo ekonomsko uspešnost poslovanja, PGO imajo predvsem težave s plačevanjem tekočih obveznosti, delež lastniškega kapitala se konstantno zmanjšuje, posledično pa se podjetja soočajo z vse večjo zadolženostjo. Na osnovi finančnih rezultatov ugotavljamo, da so pristopni proces EU, uvedba evra in predsedovanje EU pozitivno vplivali na porast čistih prihodkov od prodaje, medtem ko je finančna in gospodarska kriza izrazito negativno vplivala na finančno poslovanje PGO-jev. Dobljeni rezultati lahko pomembno pripomorejo k razumevanju uspešnosti poslovanja prehrambnega gostinstva v RS v obdobju preteklih enaindvajsetih let.
