Spatial Investment Decision-Making in Slovenia Using the Investment Decision-Making Process

Spatial investments possess the characteristics of sustainable development investments and differ from investments with predominantly economic objectives in terms of multidimensional, sustainable natural development objectives, and involve a larger number of participants in the decision-making process. The spatial investment decision-making model in Slovenia is prescribed for spatial investments of national importance and derived through the initiative preparation process and later, through the preparation, treatment, and evaluation of variants or study of the variants process. The investment decision-making process is implemented using the above process, so the study focused on the analysis of the statutory prescribed spatial investment decision-making model through stages of the investment decision-making process.
