Factors of Success in Introducing Change in a Healthcare Organization

Abstract

Increasing pressure to adapt to environmental changes has shifted from the economic sector to public sector organizations, especially healthcare. The lack of public money to provide health services and rights should therefore partially replace change management. The following factors are most often mentioned in the literature for successful change implementation: change planning, communication, employee trust, training and information on change, education, employee involvement in the
change process, teamwork, culture, etc. The results show that planning for the introduction of changes in the hospital is strongly correlated with the education or training and informing of employees about the introduction of changes, as well as with the involvement of employees in the process of introduction of changes.
