Mobbing in the narrower sense means harassment in the workplace, usually carried out by a superior over a subordinate. In a broader sense, it speaks of humiliation, contempt, oppression and exclusion from the work organization. It is a type of psychological violence against a person. Bullying and violence are defined as psychological violence, which can turn into physical violence against a person at any time. We often talk about bullying as just psychological harassment, which is carried out in the heat of the moment, but it does not have serious consequences and often consists only of empty words, of insults that disappear. In principle, the people who are being intimidated are not afraid of their attackers, as is the case with mobbing or violence. Violence is in most cases of a physical nature. It is often experienced by healthcare professionals from patients, but we should not exclude their colleagues and superiors. The aim of the research is to identify the occurrence of workplace mobbing, bullying and violence in health care and to take action against these phenomena.
