Čustvena inteligenca kot pomembna veščina na delovnem mestu

Povzetek

Poznamo mnogo ravni inteligence in poleg inteligenčnega količnika (IQ) prihaja vedno bolj v ospredje tudi čustvena inteligenca (EQ) posameznika, ki nam pove, kako upravljamo z lastnimi čustvi in čustvi ljudi okoli sebe. Na opravljanje nalog na delovnem mestu imata obe inteligenci pomemben vpliv. Za pripravo prispevka smo opravili sistematičen pregled znanstvene in strokovne literature v podatkovnih bazah Google Scholar, Science direct in EBSCO ter v strokovni reviji HRM – strokovna revija za ravnanje z ljudmi pri delu in Reviji za ekonomske in poslovne vede. Za uvrstitev člankov v pregled literature smo upoštevali vključitvene kriterije, ki so zajemali ključne besede in besedne zveze v slovenskem jeziku: čustvena inteligenca na delovnem mestu in v angleškem jeziku: emotional inteligence, emotional intelligence in workplace, emotional intelligence and job satisfaction, emotional intelligence and job performance. Osredotočili smo se na analizo izvirnih in preglednih znanstvenih člankov, ki so bili dostopni v polnem besedilu ter so bili vsebinsko in aktualno ustrezni. Rezultati pregledane literature prikazujejo pomembno povezavo med čustveno inteligenco in zadovoljstvom pri delu in delovno uspešnostjo posameznika na delovnem mestu.
